Challenge
Support two watering profiles in one planter without compromising either root zone.
Approach
Split the inner planter 5/6 and 1/6, linking the larger zone to a reservoir while isolating the smaller zone from constant moisture.
Evidence
A baffled top-fill column, dedicated wick channels, and twist-lock 80 mm moss-pole sections turn the irrigation strategy into printable geometry.
Outcome
A documented three-plate PETG build that combines self-watering, top-down maintenance, and modular vertical growth in one footprint.
