Parametric Screen-Protector System

A reusable phone model that drives device-specific protector cuts and the matching printed installation guides.

Case study Parametric design · Production tooling

Challenge
Produce a custom protector and alignment tool for each supported phone without treating every device as an unrelated design problem.
Approach
Use one parametric phone model as the shared geometry for the screen outline, sensor clearance, cut profile, and installation-guide fit.
Evidence
The Galaxy S25 example connects the modeled guide, its physical fit around the phone, and the protector being positioned through the finished tool.
Outcome
A repeatable in-house workflow where each phone produces a precisely cut protector and a matched guide for straightforward installation.
Scope
Parametric CAD / Protector cutting / Guide fabrication / Fit validation
Build
1 device model / 2 matched outputs / In-house production
